Care Guide

Each item is unique and may require different care.

Our products are delicate and made with love so you will need to handle them with care. Please only hand wash your garments in a laundry bag in cold water with mild detergent so they don’t loose colour or shape. After washing, immediately remove them from the water, hang to dry and then press before wearing. Caring for your product is essential for sustaining its quality.

Silk and laces is a delicate, luxury fabric and needs to be treated with care.

  • We recommend hand washing all your undergarments to keep them in the best possible condition. (Hand wash at 30° – 40° ‘cold water’  with specialist silk detergent.
  • We recommend you take your pieces to reputable specialist dry cleaners that have experience of handling delicate fabrics.
  • Do not wring, soak or bleach.
  •  Iron to restore lustre -Press the silk garment inside out while damp using cool iron setting (“Silk” setting on the iron).
  • Marks should be rubbed lightly with a sponge or brush.
  • Do not machine wash or tumble dry. ( if necessary use a mesh lingerie bag )
  • Air dry away from the sun or direct heat.
  • Body lotions and cosmetics may create marks which are difficult to remove or may damage your silk. We recommend that you at least let any lotions dry as much as possible before wearing any silk . We advise caution with spraying perfume on any silk products, as this can leave stains. If you do want to add scent to your lingerie, use a scent pouch in your drawers.
